Boyd CurranChief Executive Officer Boyd is the Chief Executive Officer of Beyond Billabong and lives at Longreach with his wife Mandy and 3 children. He was previously Chief Operating Officer of Lawn Hill and Riversleigh Pastoral Holding Company for 12 years where he grew the business into a commercial powerhouse and created social programs that were unique and innovative. |

Richelle PowerFinancial Controller Richelle commenced in December 2011 and is responsible for all areas of Finance as well as assisting with HR and IT. Richelle’s background is in management accounting with both ASX listed and medium sized companies. |

Katie WheildonBookkeeper Katie joined Beyong Billabong in January 2012 in the role of Bookkeeper. She has a Bachelor of Business from The University of Queensland and after managing her family business for over 10 years she started a Bookkeeping business with her husband in 2010, which now services over 20 clients in and around Brisbane. |

Elisha ZeidlerProgram Manager and Personal Assistant to CEO Elisha Joined Beyond Billabong in January 2012 to assist Boyd Curran, the HR and Vocations team in the Brisbane office. Elisha has brought along with her a wide range of administration skills and is excited about her journey with Beyond Billabong! |

Andrew CurrieHorse Instructor Andrew has been with Beyond Billabong from day 1! He started work with the Lawn Hill RPHC programs 16 years ago and taught at Normanton TAFE. He delivered training in Doomadgee and 14 years Emerald Agricultural College; 8 of these years as Manager of the Equine Section. He is now a Professional Cutting horse trainer after winning over 40 Stockman’s Challenges and also made the Australian Cutting team in 2002 to compete in USA. Andrew’s role at Beyond Billabong is to deliver training and oversee the Horse program and trainers. |

Sutara FerrisMentor Sutara started working with Beyond Billabong as a Mentor in November 2011. For the past 10 years Sutara has been self-employed working in the capacity of alternate therapies and in that time has travelled internationally spending time with various Indigenous cultures. It has been her desire and life goal to empower not only herself but those whom she works with to discover the wisdom, respect, love and courage which resides within each individual. The foundation and intention of Beyond Billabong allows Sutara to follow her passion to make a difference to the Indigenous of this land through mentoring and being a positive role model. |

Kate GleesonMentor Kate commenced her role as a mentor at Beyond Billabong in January 2012. Kate has a background in education, having worked as a Secondary School teacher in QLD and the United Kingdom. In addition to this, Kate has had experience in residential care in a variety of capacities in several boarding schools. Kate has also contracted to private Registered Training Organisation, providing workplace training to a variety of organisations. In her role as a mentor, Kate provides a safe environment to allow participants to empower themselves, through responsibility and respect, encouraging positive life choices. |

Jamie PetersHorsemanship Trainer Jamie was introduced to Beyond Billabong in 2009 by Andrew Currie. Jamie has a colourful background originally from the land but after an Apprenticeship in Diesel mechanics, playing professional rugby league and policing in the Northern Territory has returned to land to raise his family. Running a 20,000 acre breeder property west of Bundaberg, Jamie finds time to travel to Longreach and instruct out students. After spending 5 years living in Indigenous communities in the Northern Territory, he has seen firsthand the violence and abuse suffered by these kids and believes that the love and care provided at Beyond Billabong is a great second chance for many of these disadvantage teenagers. |

Helen BottomHorsemanship Trainer Helen has been working with Beyond Billabong for 2 years, and loves to share her passion for horses with the participants. Helen finds it to be very rewarding seeing the relationship between the horses and participants grow. She lives in Monto where she works on her partner’s family cattle station, along with training and competing on their own cutting horses. |
