Beyond Billabong will:

  • Work collaboratively with companies to establish a clear and meaningful Employment Strategy
  • Establish internal targets to measure the success of the Employment Program
  • Equip companies with the necessary systems, programs and people to manage the employment initiatives. Develop accountabilities for employment initiatives with the aim of increasing ownership and buy-in of the workplace
  • Monitor and audit key corporate performance indicators for Sustainable Employment
  • Provide training to improve workplace cohesion including the modules described
  • Meet with key stakeholders to determine strategy elements
  • Engage with traditional owners and other key stakeholders to determine employment needs
  • Ensure Senior leadership teams are aware of project and invite commitment
  • Indigenous Employment Strategy encompassing employment, training and ongoing support
  • Present strategy to key decision makers for approval
  • Project plan including milestones and deliverables
  • Target site recruitment and selection of Indigenous employees
  • Deliver pre-vocational and training
  • Placement of work ready candidates 
  • Mentoring support
  • Workplace training – Leadership, Effective Mentoring and Mentoring support 
  • Development of internal mentors and professional leadership capacity
  • Management of Program
