Indigenous Employment Alliance
Early in 2011 Beyond Billabong facilitated the formation of the Indigenous Employment Alliance. Our engagement with the corporate groups that form the Alliance is about playing a role in supporting and facilitating their challenges and aspirations around Indigenous Employment.
The group is about engaging in a way that promotes the sharing of wisdom and knowledge and encourages the empowerment of Indigenous people. Our vision is to create sustainable employment opportunities for Indigenous Australians through industry partnerships.
Beyond Billabong, as part of the Alliance, is also able to seek and recruit employees for those who require this level of support. Essentially, we see ourselves as the ‘hub’ that links together each of the elements involved in the HR / Recruitment process at whatever extent is required by our members.
